What to Wear for your Engagement Session

Putting together outfits for your engagement session can feel like a huge task. You want something to wear that represents your style, but you also want to be comfortable. And sometimes coordinating with your fiancé isn’t so easy! But I want to make that a little bit easier for you so that your experience of working with me is fun and you feel confident while we are shooting together!

Best of Both Worlds

I love when my couples have two outfits – one that is casual and one that is a bit fancier. I don’t think you need an excuse to get all dressed up, but this is a perfect time to use that as a reason! Plus it is a great way to have a bit of compromise with each other in what you wear for your session.

Fancy Outfit Inspiration

I think it is so fun when ladies wear a cocktail or formal dress for an engagement session. You can pick something fun here that really shows off your style and makes for fun photos. For men, you can go as far as a suit, but also a nice sports coat is a great compliment when your lady is all dolled up!

Casual Outfits to Wear for an Engagement Session

For the casual outfit, I love to see my couples throw on a simple white tee, jeans and sneakers. These photos end up being some of my favorites because instead of the outfits being the focal point, you and your partner’s love gets to shine!
