There’s something romantic about returning to the place where your story began. For Natasha and Jacob, this Villa Antonia anniversary session was more than a photoshoot — it was a celebration of one year of marriage, captured among Tuscan-inspired architecture, golden light, and heartfelt memories.

Almost exactly one year after their Villa Antonia wedding, Natasha and Jacob returned to the hilltop venue where they said “I do” on September 20, 2024. Their anniversary session in Austin, Texas took place on September 8th — a date that marked the start of a new tradition: celebrating each milestone with joy and sweet sentimental details.
Set against the warm stone walls, café lights, and breathtaking Hill Country views, this romantic anniversary photoshoot felt like reliving the magic of their wedding day — with even more laughter, ease, and depth between them.

The session came to life with warm-toned florals by Sip + Stems that perfectly complemented the romantic textures of the venue. Natasha’s butter yellow gown paired beautifully with Villa Antonia’s terracotta tones, creating a dreamy, nostalgic palette that mirrored pastel of the the late-summer light.
As the sun set, the couple shared champagne, cake, and private letters to one another. Such a sentimental tradition that felt intimate and entirely their own.

Every detail of this first anniversary photoshoot reflected who they are as a couple: thoughtful, joyful, and full of creativity.
Natasha brought the top tier of their wedding cake — beautifully preserved and ready to enjoy together once again. They toasted with hand-painted champagne flutes from their wedding day, engraved with two hearts and their initials.

And because she’s truly one of a kind, Natasha designed a custom wedding magazine recapping their first year of marriage. Watching them flip through its pages — laughing at memories and reflecting on their journey — was such a meaningful moment to document.

There’s something beautiful about photographing couples after the wedding — when the sparkle of celebration has softened into steady, everyday love. This Villa Antonia anniversary session was a reminder that the first year of marriage deserves to be celebrated, documented, and remembered.

“Our anniversary session with Kelly was even more meaningful than we expected. She created space for us to slow down, celebrate this milestone, and remember what we promised each other — and she documented it all with so much grace and artistry.”

If you’re planning your own milestone celebration, consider an anniversary photoshoot in the Texas Hill Country. Whether it’s at your wedding venue or a place that feels special to your story, these sessions are an incredible way to reflect on your growth, connection, and all the beauty still ahead.
