As a Texas Longhorn myself, there is nothing quite like the joy of capturing a fellow Longhorn’s wedding day. I met Sidne years ago when I took her senior photos at UT (hook ‘em)! From then on I have been so lucky to capture all of her and Ryan’s special moments. I shot their proposal at UT, their engagements, her bridals, and as of Saturday – their WEDDING!!! I adore these two and simply loved their day!
Texas Longhorn Wedding Details
Sidne and Ryan are known amongst their best people as a power couple and I definitely got to see why! These two met at UT and had lots of fun Longhorn touches throughout their day.
Wedding Reception at The Astorian
Their planner, Jen, did such an amazing job bringing Sidne’s vision to life. Their reception at The Astorian was absolutely stunning! The space itself was already amazing, but with the all-white details, orchid bud cases and greenery hanging from the ceiling, I just couldn’t get over the beauty of the space!
On top of the beautiful details, their love for travel came through with food from around the world. It was a fun touch and a great experience for their guests.
Bride and Groom Portraits
Sometimes, even with a plan, outdoor photos can be tricky to sneak in. We got so lucky and the sun set ten minutes later than planned. Talk about a MIRACLE! We thought we’d be taking all their couples’ photos inside the church and were so happy that we got to do some outside! It was the perfect few minutes capturing the new Mr. & Mrs.
